Jewel ha lanzado una nueva canción llamada «Grateful», un single que será parte de su próximo y duodécimo álbum de estudio que llegará en los próximos meses. El artista publicó la canción en su canal de YouTube y en las principales tiendas digitales y plataformas de transmisión el martes 7 de abril para deleite de sus numerosos fans de todo el mundo.
«El sol brillará en mi corazón / El sol brillará, es verdad», así canta Jewel durante el estribillo de «Grateful», su nueva canción.
En una entrevista reciente con People, Jewel presentó la canción de la siguiente manera:
«Cuando llegó la crisis del coronavirus, realmente pensé que esta era la canción correcta y que tenía que compartir con la gente. No estaba planeando lanzar novedades en este momento, ya que todavía estoy trabajando en el disco. Pero espero que le guste a la gente y pueda ayudarle a afrontar este complicado momento».
El último trabajo discográfico del artista data de 2015 cuando lanzó el álbum «Picking Up the Pieces», que también contiene el sencillo «My Father’s Daughter«.
