Inicialmente elegido como lead single para el último disco de OneRepublic, en un segundo momento ‘Love Runs Out’ fue descartado, como ha explicado el mismo frontman de la banda, Ryan Tedder: “Nos costó bastante sacar la canción y cuando lanzamos el álbum faltaba todavía un buen estribillo que fuese capaz de transmitir al publico el mensaje de la canción. Hemos preferido dejarla a un lado para mejorarla y finalmente, creo, ha valido la pena esperar un poco. La versión definitiva nos gusta realmente mucho“.
De hecho, hace unas horas ha sido estrenado el videoclip de la canción, dirigido por Sophie Muller, compuesta por el líder de OneRepublic con Brent Kutzle, Andrew Brown, Eddie Fisher y Zach Filkins y que ya se está portando muy bien a nivel de listas musicales y durante las próximas semanas los resultados podrían ser aún mejores.
‘Love Runs Out’ anticipa la reedición del disco ‘Native’ que pero todavia no tiene una fecha de publicación oficial.
