Mientras todos esperamos ver el rockumentary “20,000 days on Earth”, una especie de excursus de 24 horas en la vida del ex líder de Birthday Party, Nick Cave y su banda Bad Seeds han compartido online una nueva canción inédita, titulada “Give us a kiss”.
La canción, que llegará a las tiendas el prócimo 10 de noviembre (también en formato de 10 pulgadas) viene acompañada por un fragmento, también inédito, de un directo de ‘Jubilee Street’, tema originariamente publicado en el último disco del grupo australiano, ‘Push the sky away’ de 2013.
“Give us a kiss” ha sido incluido en la banda sonora de “20,000 days on Earth” y ha sido grabado durante las sesiones del álbum ya mencionado (abajo el tráiler del film).
El largometraje será proyectado en las salas del 19 de septiembre en Estados Unidos y Reino Unido, durante el mes de noviembre en Europa. Ha sido rodado con la colaboración de Warren Ellis (ex Dirty Three) y autor del score del film, Ray Winstone, Blixa Bargeld, frontman de Einstürzende Neubauten y Kylie Minogue (todos recordamos el dueto para “Where the wild roses grow”).
Entre los personajes que participan en la película vale la pena mencionar a Susie Bick, mujer de Cave y madre de sus dos gemelos.
