La banda de indie rock, formada en Ohio en 1999, The National ha regalado al público californiano su última novedad musical.
El pasado 16 de octubre de 2015, los espectadores presentes en la sala de rock Trobadour, han podido disfrutar con la interpretación en directo del nuevo single del grupo liderado por Matt Berninger, el inédito ‘Roman Candle’ que podrás escuchar en el vídeo incrustado con, más abajo, la letra oficial.
National ha protagonizado un concierto benéfico en favor de la asociación Cooperative for Education, creada por los primos del frontman, Joe y Jeff Berninger.
Respeto al futuro de la banda (el último y sexto disco de estudio ‘Trouble Will Find Me’ fue publicado el 17 de mayo de 2013), hablando con la revista NME, Matt ha declarado:
“Hemos transcurrido los últimos meses grabando en estudio, en Nueva York y tenemos unas treinta canciones nuevas, ya básicamente listas. Ahora tenemos que elegir las que queremos sean incluidas en el nuevo álbum pero sinceramente no sé cuando terminaremos. Podemos seguramente afirmar que lo complicado viene ahora…”.
