Adam Levine y compañeros regresan con su nuevo single ‘Maps’ que anticipa el también nuevo álbum de estudio ‘V’ previsto para el próximo septiembre.
Ya desde los primeros segundos de escucha es evidente que este nuevo tema se configura como posible Song of the Summer 2014 y, compartiendo el punto de vista de muchos críticos musicales, se trata de una canción que sorprende por acercarse y seguir la huella del material clásico de Police y Sting (manteniendo elementos más cercanos al pop rock cautiante de grupos como por ejemplo OneRepublic, considerando la producción de Ryan Tedder, uno de los fundadores de esa banda).
El single, tan solo unas horas después de su publicación, ya está arrasando en las listas musicales, llegando directamente al numero uno del chart de Billboard Twitter Trending 140, gracias también a una campaña promocional muy intensa organizada por Maroon 5 en sus redes sociales.
