La cantante de Los Ángeles presenta hoy su nuevo single oficial “To Love and Die“, tema que abre la nueva etapa discográfica de Jhene Aiko respetando los elementos de su trabajo anterior, el single “The Worst” capaz de alcanzar el Top 40 en el Billboard Hot 100.
Bassline y atmósferas psiquedelicas son ahora la huella distintiva de la música de Jhene Aiko, que recuerda en parte algunos ingredientes típicos de los singles del amigo Drake con ahora nuevas sonoridades vocales ofrecidas por la participación del colectivo Cocaine 80s, liderado por el productor No I.D.
El próximo domingo 29 de junio, la banda de Jhene Aiko actuará durante los BET Awards y podría tocar en directo por primera vez este nuevo single, que con las otras canciones “Promises” y “Spotless Mind” (estrenada durante el Coachella Festival) serán parte integrante del nuevo disco ‘Souled Out’.
