Después haber estrenado el title track ‘Lazaretto’ y el tema instrumental ‘High ball stepper’, Jack White, a través de la edición estadounidense de Rolling Stone, ha decidido regalar a publico y fans su tercer single adelanto, titulado ‘Just one drink’.
Se trata de una canción blues que habla sobre algunos de los estereotipos más clásicos del genero, con un texto que, en muchas partes (como en la inicial “You drink water, I drink gasoline”) es un evidente homenaje a “I asked for water, she gave me gasoline” de Howlin’ Wolf.
Un single excelente, en pleno estilo White.
‘Lazaretto’ incluirá 11 temas grabadas por Jack con sus dos backing bands (Peacocks, compuesta solo por chicas y Buzzards), durante las pausas de su gira musical “Blunderbuss”, organizada para promocionar su otro disco de 2012.
El disco, que llegará el 10 de junio, está disponible ya en pre-order en iTunes a través del sitio de Third Man Records, sello fundado por el mismo cantante y guitarrista.
