Tras el lanzamiento de su primer disco, de forma independiente, que pero ha obtenido escasos resultados a nivel comercial, la cantante nacida en Nueva Jersey, Estados Unidos, el 12 de marzo de 1994 ha conseguido un contrato con Island Records que trabajará para que su voz se convierta en una de las más interesantes entre las artistas emergentes de 2014.
El primer single que podemos escuchar se titula ‘Must Be Love’ y abre oficialmente la nueva etapa discográfica de Christina Grimmie: se trata de un uptempo pegadizo y destinado a tener buen éxito, sobretodo en Estados Unidos.
Presenta sonoridades electrónicas y efectos que transforman la esplendida voz de la interprete que ha decidido salir al mercado con una canción realmente muy original y será interesante seguir su trayectoria a nivel de playlist.
