‘Burning Up’ fue una de las canciones incluidas en el disco de debut homónimo de Madonna, un tema dance pop que muy a menudo a sido reinterpretado por la misma Britney Spears durante sus conciertos y ahora la cantante ha decidido estrenar una versión original definitiva.
La sorpresa es que la voz de Britney parece perfecta para esta canción: su versión resulta aún mejor del original, evidentemente cantada por una joven Madonna y la Spears consigue ofrecer matices vocales y elementos muy personales que enriquecen el single.
