Alt-J ‘Hunger of the pine’

Ha llegado el momento de escuchar un primer adelanto del nuevo proyecto musical de Alt-J que, hace unas horas, han presentado durante el show radiofonico de Zane Lowe en Radio BBC 1, el single adelanto  “Hunger of the pine”.

El tema, que se presenta con un íncipit bastante soft, va creciendo en intensidad hasta que llega el sample de ‘4X4′ de Miley Cyrus, con el loop del verso en que la estrella del pop canta “I’m a female rebel”. 

El teclista de la banda, Gus Unger-Hamiliton ha descrito el single con estas palabras: “Lo hemos construido utilizando ideas completamente nuevas y espontaneas… Es el fruto de un trabajo rápido e inmediato y luego hemos añadido unos cuantos efectos con Ableton con el resultado de un sonido muy nuevo”.
