Alicia Keys, en ocasión del Martin Luther King, Jr. Day 2014, ha presentado una nueva canción inédita que podrás escuchar a continuación en Música Nueva. Se trata del sencillo ‘Power’ de que te ofrecemos también la letra oficial.
“Esta canción habla sobre el poder” dijo la cantante nacida en 1981 en Manhattan, “La escribí hace años, en 2007 y nunca ha sido publicada, tampoco mis amigos ni mi familia la habían escuchada antes”. ‘Power’ es una de esos temas llamados unreleased songs, “Una de mis preferidas en absoluto y he preferido guardarla para mi y presentarla en una ocasión espacial como esta”, dijo la artista, que estrenó la canción durante el Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, que se celebra cada año el 15 de enero, para recordar el nacimiento del famoso pastor y activista, nacido en 1929 y asesinado en Memphis en 1968. Se trata de un tema soul jazz perfecto para la voz de Alicia Keys que está actualmente trabajando sobre su nuevo disco, sucesor de ‘Girl On Fire’ publicado en 2012.
